<p><strong>INTERCESSORY PRAYER CARDS</strong> are now available in the vestibule. These are for use during the morning service. If you know of someone in need of prayer, or requesting prayer please put their name on the card and a brief description of what is to be prayed for. If anonymity is required then don’t put the name on the card. Place the card in the Offering plate when it comes round. The cards will be brought forward with the Offering and the minister will use them in his Intercessory Prayer.</p>
<p><strong>OAKSHAW EXPLORERS</strong>: Our May Sunday afternoon outing is to Troon Beach today. Please gather in the Large Hall for departure after 1.00 p.m.</p>
<p><strong>KIRK SESSION</strong>: The Kirk Session meets tomorrow evening at 7.30 p.m. in the Lang Hall.</p>
<p><strong>GUILD</strong>: Would members attending the Guild Outing to Kelso on Tuesday 15th May, 2012 please note the bus will leave Bridge Street at 10.00 a.m.</p>
<p><strong>GIVING FOR GROWTH PROGRAMME</strong>: The next committee meeting will meet on 16th May at 7.30 p.m. in the Studio, the Wynd Centre.</p>
<p><strong>FUNDRAISING &amp; FELLOWSHIP GROUP</strong>: Dates for your diary:</p>

<li>The Car Treasure Hunt and BBQ is next Sunday 20th May in the afternoon and we still have a number of places available. If you are looking for a good day out book your ticket today. Also if you do not have a car and would like to come please let us know and we will line you up with someone who has a car. Please note change of time, the Treasure Hunt begins at 2.00 p.m. Tickets available from Joyce Allan or other members of the committee priced £5.00 for adults and £2.50 for children.</li>
<li>We are also having a Family Race Night on 16th June in the Wynd. Both events are good fun and we will be announcing more details soon.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>TRINITY LUNCH CLUB TEAM</strong> gather in the Wynd Coffee Shop on Monday 21st May at 10.30 a.m. to discuss the 2012/13 syllabus.</p>
<p><strong>ADAMS TRUST MEETING</strong>: The committee will meet on Thursday 24th May, 2012 at 7.30 p.m. in the Heritage Room</p>
<p><strong>FAIRTRADE STALL</strong>: Will be held on Sunday 27th May after the service.</p>
<p><strong>HEART AND SOUL</strong>, Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh—20th May, 2012. This celebration for the whole church will be held from 1.00 p.m.- 6.00 p.m. on Sunday 20th May, 2012. It will include an inter-church youth football tournament, massed choirs and fun events for children. Those wishing to go should add their name to the list in the vestibule.</p>
<p><strong>ANNIVERSARY SERVICE</strong>: Shawlands United Church invites us to join with them on Sunday 20th May, 2012 at 11.00. The guest preacher is Rev. Graham Cartlidge of Eastwood Parish Church. A soup lunch in aid of Christian Aid will be served at 12.30 p.m.</p>
<p><strong>WYND WORSHIP ROTA:</strong> The June until December rota is currently being prepared. There are a few gaps and if you can help out please contact John Stewart or Catriona in the Church Office.</p>

<p><strong>CHRISTIAN AID LUNCH:</strong> There will be a bread and cheese lunch in the hall after the service on 13th May to mark the start of Christian Aid week.  Please support.</p>
<p><strong>CHRISTIAN AID COMMITTEE:</strong> Are holding a market in Wallneuk Church on Saturday 12th May from 10am to 12 noon.  Tickets priced £2 can be paid at the door.</p>
<p><strong>BOYS BRIGADE:</strong> The annual review of the 14th Paisley Company will take place on Friday 11th May in the Wynd Centre at 7.30pm.  All members of the congregation are invited to attend.  This year the annual review will take the format of a &#8220;Game Show&#8221; with a panel trying to correctly predict the outcome of challenges that the boys will be set.  The challenges will reflect some of the work undertaken this session.</p>
<p><strong>FAIRTRADE STALL:</strong> Will be held on Sunday 27th May after the service.</p>

Guests for the evening are the Westerton Male Voice Choir and the proceeds of this concert will go to &#8220;Erskine &#8211; Proud to Care&#8221;.  Tickets cost £5 and are now on sale from Committee Members or at the door, and includes tea and coffee and home baking.  Please come along and support this worthy cause.</p>
<p><strong>ECO CONGREGATION &#8211; 21st APRIL</strong>:  The Annual Eco Congregation Scotland gathering will be held on Saturday 21st April in Bridge of Allan Parish Church.  For further details please see Jim McDougall.</p>
<p><strong>HEART &#038; SOUL</strong> &#8211; Princes Street, Edinburgh, 20th May.  This celebration for the whole church will be held from 1pm to 6pm on Saturday 20th May.  It will include an inter-church youth football tournament, massed choirs and fun events for children.  More details to follow.</p>

<li>11am &#8211; Morning Worship will be conducted by Very Rev. John C. Christie &#038; Rev. Douglas Hamilton.  Service of Covenant, Thanksgiving and Rededication at 11am.  This is an all-age act of worship celebrating our organist&#8217;s 25 years of service, admission of new members, and contributions by our young people.  The service will be longer than usual.  Everyone is welcome and it would be marvellous if we had a capacity congregation that day!</li>
<li>Membership class will meet in the Heritage Room after the Service.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>FINANCE COMMITTEE</strong> will meet on Tuesday 21st February at 7.30pm in the Session House.</p>
<p><strong>ADULT EDUCATION AND MISSION COMMITTEE</strong>: There are still a few copies of the prayer booklet from CrossReach available in the Church vestibule.  They are very useful for private devotions.  CrossReach is the Social Care Council of the Church of Scotland.   Copies of Inside Out (CWM) are available in the vestibule.  Please take a copy.</p>

<p>TRINITY MAGAZINE:<br />
All contributions for inclusion in the next issue of Trinity Magazine should be in as soon as possible, by by Sunday 29th at the latest.  The magazine will be available from mid February.  Remember to include advance notice of any events between mid February and the end of May.  Also, let us know of any ideas for items/features you would like to see in future issues of Trinity and we will see what we can do.  Items should be given to Sheila Miller (smiller14@btinternet.com) or Lynn Ferguson (lynn.ferguson@ntlworld.com) or Catriona in the Church office.</p>
<p>USED STAMP COLLECTION:<br />
The stamp collection will continue until end of January 2012.</p>
<p>DYNAMIC WORSHIP DAY:<br />
Saturday 4th February &#8211; 10am-4pm.  Clydebank United Reformed Church.  An event for anyone in West Link Churches Group interested in exploring different types of worship.  Workshops will cover prayer, music, community, storytelling, drama, multimedia, etc.   Soup, tea and coffee will be provided.  Please bring your own sandwiches.
