• As from next Sunday, Intercessory Prayer cards will be available in the vestibule. These are for use during the morning service. If you know of someone in need of prayer, or requesting prayer, please put their name on the card and a brief description of what is to be prayed for. If anonymity is required, then please don’t put the name on the card. Place the card on the Offering Plate when it comes round. The cards will be brought forward with the Offering and the minister will then use them in his Intercessory Prayer.

TRINITY MAGAZINE: All contributions for inclusion in the next issue of Trinity Magazine should be in by today at the very latest. The magazine will be available from mid May. Remember to include advance notice of events between mid May and the end of August. Items should be given or emailed to Sheena Miller or Lynn Ferguson, handed into the Church Office or, where applicable, follow any arrangements already made with Elaine Craig, David Chalmers or Lynn Ferguson (these might be for an earlier deadline).

FINANCE MEETING: The committee will meet on Tuesday 8th May at 7.30pm in the Studio of the Wynd Centre.

FUNDRAISING & FELLOWSHIP GROUP: Dates for your diary:

• Car Treasure Hunt and BBQ – 20th May in the afternoon. Tickets available from Joyce Allan or other members of the committee. £5 for adults, £2.50 for children.
• Family Race Night – 16th June. This will be held in the Wynd Centre.

GIVING FOR GROWTH: is about making the best use of our time, skills and money. In the course of the next few months there will be opportunities to use all three. Please give support when asked to do so. Also note the Gathering will be on 19th September with an afternoon session and an evening session.

THE EIGHT O’CLOCK CLUB: Our next meeting is our AGM on Monday 30th April in the Lang Hall. After business is complete, we will have a fun game of bingo.

CHRISTIAN AID LUNCH: There will be a bread and cheese lunch in the hall after the service on 13th May to mark the start of Christian Aid week. Please support.

CHRISTIAN AID COMMITTEE: Are holding a market in Wallneuk Church on Saturday 12th May from 10am to 12 noon. Tickets priced £2 can be paid at the door.

BOYS BRIGADE: The annual review of the 14th Paisley Company will take place on Friday 11th May in the Wynd Centre at 7.30pm. All members of the congregation are invited to attend. This year the annual review will take the format of a “Game Show” with a panel trying to correctly predict the outcome of challenges that the boys will be set. The challenges will reflect some of the work undertaken this session.

FAIRTRADE STALL: Will be held on Sunday 27th May after the service.

HEART AND SOUL, Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, 20th May: This celebration for the whole church will be held from 1pm to 6pm on Sunday 20th May. It will include an inter-church youth football tournament, massed choirs and fun events for children. Those wishing to go should add their name to the list in the vestibule.

CEILIDH: In the Wynd Centre on 26th May at 7.30pm, tickets prices £7 (includes food). Tickets from John Stewart, Tom Clark, Joyce Jackson and the Wynd Centre. All proceeds to support CHICKS.

WYND BOARD: The next meeting of the Wynd Board is at 7.30pm on 9th May in the Wynd Centre.

Following the success of our previous Car Treasure Hunt and BBQ we are having another on Sunday 20th May in the afternoon. Tickets available from Joyce Allan or other members of the committee priced £5.00 for adults and £2.50 for children.

We are also having a Family Race Night on 16th June in the Wynd. Both events are good fun and we will be announcing more details soon.

The success of these events is dependent on the support of all of the church organisations and we will be having a planning meeting 23rd April. Could organisation leaders please arrange to be represented at this meeting.

Please put your name on the sheet in the church vestibule if you plan to attend as this helps with catering. All welcome.

KIRK SESSION: The next Kirk Session will be Monday 19th March at 7.30pm in the Lang Hall.

ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING: will be held after Morning Worship on Sunday 25th March. Optional Communion will follow after the meeting.

This is an all-age act of worship celebrating our organist’s 25 years of service, admission of new members, and contributions by our young people. The service will be longer than usual. Everyone is welcome and it would be marvellous if we had a capacity congregation that day!

FINANCE COMMITTEE will meet on Tuesday 21st February at 7.30pm in the Session House.

ADULT EDUCATION AND MISSION COMMITTEE: There are still a few copies of the prayer booklet from CrossReach available in the Church vestibule. They are very useful for private devotions. CrossReach is the Social Care Council of the Church of Scotland. Copies of Inside Out (CWM) are available in the vestibule. Please take a copy.
